Lightning Investment Partners was founded when two cousins with real estate backgrounds decided to combine their experience in construction, property redevelopment and investment.
The name Lightning represents the speed with which the company identifies opportunities and executes projects, and also reflects Tampa’s identity as the home of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Based on our foundation of excellence, our mission is to provide high-quality construction services that combine artistic design with structural integrity.
We work closely with our clients to bring their vision to life while maintaining transparency, communication and a commitment to excellence throughout the entire process.
Meet The Founders
Karyn Useche
General Contractor
I have been living in the Tampa Bay area since 2007, where I pursued my studies at the University of Tampa. I began working in the remodeling industry at a young age and have now accumulated more than 10 years of hands-on experience in construction and remodeling projects.
Throughout my career, I gained extensive knowledge by working for several years alongside a general contractor, where I developed strong expertise in project management, craftsmanship, and customer service. After years of learning and professional growth, I decided to open my own business.
Today, I dedicate myself to delivering high-quality remodeling and construction projects not only for my own company, but also for investors who seek the same level of quality, integration, and attention to detail. My goal is always to ensure complete customer satisfaction by focusing on every aspect of the project while continuing to serve and support the Tampa Bay community with professionalism and integrity.
Rosa Acosta
Realtor & Real Estate Advisor
Rosa has an extensive educational background in information technology, communications, and real estate, combined with more than 30 years of experience living and working in the Tampa Bay area.
Since obtaining her real estate license in 2010, she has built a strong foundation in property evaluation, investment, and development.
In 2015, alongside her cousin, Rosa co-founded Lightning Property Group, entering a highly competitive industry traditionally dominated by men.
Through dedication, vision, and hard work, they successfully expanded their business and helped build what is known today as Lightning Investment Partners.
Today, Rosa is fully dedicated to evaluating, acquiring, and developing real estate projects, bringing professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to excellence to every opportunity she undertakes.
